My Story

Starting in 1981 at Durant, Oklahoma, I worked my way through undergraduate and graduate school as a integrator, designer and teacher of Commercial Audio Video.

Commercial AV is all I have done and I am still driven by the same passion for learning new technologies and making people's ideas a reality.

What I Do

Whether it is corporate boardrooms, conferencing, stadiums, PACs, education, hospitality, HOW, or healthcare, I have designed award winning systems all over America delivering quality documents, specifications, and drawings that transform ideas into a technological reality.

My designs are only driven by providing the best system within budget. We can do this by having frank conversations about budget because I am product agnostic. My only influence is the project outcome.

How it Works

We begin the Program Phase getting familiar with the team and the client's vision. Next, I will prepare a Basis of Design narrative and estimated budget detail. Once the design parameters have been established, we move into the Deign Phase

In the Design Phase I will prepare functional, detail and devicing drawings and put together a specification using the latest standards from CSI's Master Format. We identify qualified integrators and send out bid packages. We review the submitals and proposals that are returned and decide together on the best contractor to be awarded the project.

During the following Construction Phase I will make occasional site visits, answer RFIs and review any change order requests.

In the final Commissioning Phase. I will sign off on the system after it has been demonstrated to me that everything performs properly and I review the As-built drawings. I work with the integrator to perform training to the client's satisfaction.
